Anyone looking on CL, evil-bay, BAT, etc. will get a giggle out of these "translations" of wording used in auto ads! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
http://autoweek.com/article/wait-theres-mo...anslation-guide Also, Porsche has released the new & long awaited production version Panamera Touring (Sport Tourisimo doesn't sound very Germanic either) for the 2018 MY. http://autoweek.com/article/geneva-motor-s...gn=awdailydrive Now all they need is a neuvo 928-style coupe, & a Neu-914 for that matter - since they're doing the flat-4s again!! |

And to add ....
"LOOK" - Nobody is looking at this ad cuz it's so overpriced! "Private Party" - I'm asking well over what a Porsche Dealer would charge you for a better & lower mile Cayenne S with a 2 Year Porsche CPO factory warranty - let alone the current NADA value, but then I'm special & don't think cars depreciate over time, so my car sits on AutoTrader/etc. for months & months unsold! .... from personal experience lately! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Any others out there? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) BTW - you'll have to go to the link to read their original article list of these "translations" due to copyright issues. http://autoweek.com/article/wait-theres-mo...ns-car-shoppers A few in there need to be translated from watercooled to oil/aircooled basis for our 914s, but you'll get it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Tom /////// |

Copyright? That's funny, considering this list has been around on the Net for at least a half decade...

Copyright? That's funny, considering this list has been around on the Net for at least a half decade... --DD I don't know anything about it being around the net Dave, but I do know that I got it from my daily Autoweek eNewsletter feed - which is copyrighted. As Andy on here said when he changed the 914world logo's font - who wants to waste time & money fighting lawyers in court on a copyright infringement case!? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) So although it may inconvenience a few members on here to have to click the link to read the "CL Funnies" - they'll just have to do so if they want to read it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Enjoy them &/or add your own! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) /////// |
