It’s time to add a transmission cooler to my 914-6 vintage race car. Curious what folks have to say about cooler placement. Presumably the air is hot underneath the rear trunk and I do t know how much it flows. Any suggestions on where to place it?

John Williamson aka Otto built a nice setup on my car. I removed it all when I installed my 915. I will post some pictures later. It was installed next to the trans on the right side.

I put my trans cooler in my right rear fender ahead of the wheel. I have a scoop on the outside of the car. I suspect there is quite a bit of air moving inside the fender to do the job.

Do your rules allow? An under body scoop may work too
