Was hunting a stiff gas pedal issue on our 75 2.0 and discovered that the throttle bushings are worn. Can the throttle body be rebuilt?
Thanks for any help or guidance. Attached image(s) |

A member here lent me his reamer tools and gave me bushings for mine. I'm about to send his tools back to him. It worked like a charm. Took about 20 minutes total. I smoke tested it for vacuum leaks. Perfect! Easy fix.

I spoke to the guy in New Mexico. Very nice guy, but out of my price range. Beautiful work, but figured I'd give it a try myself.

Adding a buddy to the discussion - @malcolm2 , weren't you having your TB rebuilt and bushings replaced a while back? Yes. Phil did mine. Very nice work. He adds a few non-original features. I could feel an acceleration smoothness after his work. He replies quickly to your questions and gave guidance get it installed and attached. If you have some cores, he will discount his price a bit. |

You'll never get the hard pedal out with that 75 tb. Swap with one from a73. Made my foot so much happier.
