I know that the latch mechanism in the front trunk is adjustable. My question is:
If you adjust the latch so the lid closes tighter do you need to compensate for the cable that you pull to open. I'm worried that if I get the trunk lid to close tighter the cable may not open it???? Then I'll really be stuck. What's your thoughts? Thanks |

No. Cable travel is independent of latch adjustment but it’s important to lubricate the cable and all the moving parts.
