I'm in the process of collecting parts for my 5 lug conversion and wanted to ask if a 71.6mm Bore. 52mm Offset 5 x 130mm Bolt Pattern 17" x 7" wheel would fit. I believe they were on the 968's, maybe Boxters. TIA, Kent

I have some printed pics of mine with what I think are Boxster wheels installed before I bought it. By the time I got it, Fuchs were installed. The pics were from a for sale ad that is gone now. It is a narrow body.

Should fit Kent. Mine are 17x7, 55 offset (I think they're same wheels you have on your orange car). You will need some spacers and longer studs. I have 15mm on mine. You can use the orange car wheels as test mules.

You can use the orange car wheels as test mules. The orange/red car has flares so I was doubtful but I'll check. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

I should mention that the original set that came on a Boxster would be 7x17 front, 8.5x17 rear. Mine are all "fronts" so make sure you verify that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) . They're snug but they fit.

What kind of fool would want to do that?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)
All studs are 944 rear. I'll have to look at what spacers I ended up with. 15mm and 21mm I think. 225/45-17 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/live.staticflickr.com-431-1659214723.1.jpg) |

Yeah those are exactly the wheels I have Chris. They look cool in red! 225s must BARELY fit in the rear. I'm @ 215/45/17 and there's very little space.

Just be careful with the rear fender clearance; static they might be fine, but once you are driving and in a sweeper at speed, you might experience some rub. Of course check the fronts for full turning clearance and make sure if the front suspension is compressed in a turn at speed you don''t catch a lip. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

The Indy500 are a tad narrow at the tread which is good as the fronts are tight.
The rears are fine as I got a bit carried away with the roller. And yes, you did get carried away with those rear wheels. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Spacers:
21mm front (944 early rear) 21+5mm rear Factory alignment. I figured the short sidewall preferred minimal camber. |
