Refinished my engine tins, would love to replace this decal. Is it reproduced? 1974 1.8 Thanks! thats the tune up sticker from an EC-B engine Art. shows two black hoses either side of the distributor. @StarBear made a small number repros of the one from the EC-A (california) engine which shows only one black hose on left aide of distributor. i think he was going to make some further repros which were for the EC-B engine like yours (and mine) but he may not have gotten around to it yet. if he has any EC-A ones left they are close but not exactly correct. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) as far as i know not made commercially or available anywhere apart from @StarBear 's stash. |

@artfrombama
Yep; I have both. Just PM me with your address. I’ll send you two. They don’t last real long with the heat as they’re just inkjet on Avery labels with a spray coating. Fine each for 2-3 seasons. |

Fine each for 2-3 seasons. I wonder if there is a medium we can print on that is less susceptible to heat. I know there are some stickers that have a silver backing for heat resistance and using a color laser printer. I think the Toyota timing belt stickers are printed on something similar as they reside on the timing belt cover inside the engine compartment. Grant it the temperatures probably aren't as high in the engine compartment as an air cooled engine. |
