While watching this neat video about a very cool resto mod in Germany, I was pretty impressed with this idea: get a spare ash tray and use it as a solid phone mount. Not a bad idea! Looks like a second ash tray insert can be had cheaply for this purpose.

This entire video is pretty fun. Also, if you don't speak German, you can use the CC auto translate. Works pretty well.

This is super helpful. In all my online communities, I try to search for "new to me" topics first so I am not "that guy" junking up the threads. I'll put this search to good use. Thanks!
