So Encountered a situation that puzzled me a bit: when working on a customers 74
L-jet 1.8L car found that plumbing the OE FI back onto car the hose sizing didnt work
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Particularly the Plenum outlet to the Decel valve on the R. of the eng bay.
The Decel valve has 3 ports the 4mm on one side & on the other a Large hose to the intake Y then the smaller of the two on that side to the plenum (according to the hose diagram) but the plenum port is significantly smaller !!
I checked with my parts stash (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) & indeed there is two plenums otherwise identical except for this port similar to early vs late plenums on D-Jet.
Can someone someone more knowledgeable than I on L-Jet advise the MY this change took place & or if there are = Decel valve changes?
