My passenger side window has come loose from the metal guide channel. I know this is a common problem on the early window design ('71). Does anyone have any recommendations on what type of adhesive to use to fix this???
Thanks in advance! |

3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive. Part no. 0 51135 - 08001
It comes in a red box. Available at most auto parts stores. The guy at the parts counter recommended it to me for glass to metal bonding. It has kept a replacement mirror securely in place on my tow vehicle for 3+ years. |

IIRC, my windows had some kind of piece of rubber or plastic between the glass and the metal that gripped it at the bottom.
Am I making a mistake, and thinking of the 1974 Bumblebee's windows? |
