OK, what do you have to get done to your car before you can make it to Portland?

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) 1) change brake fluid
2) change oil

Oh ya, lend a hand to guys who have a longer list

Design and build a functional teleportation system large enough for both me and my car...

well, it's running great right now, so if i just put the 3.6L on hold, i'll be able to get away with an oilchange and a gallon of windshield cleaner fluid ...
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

but knowing me, i'm probably tear it down completely just in time for the WCC ...

interestingly enough, i just read a book about that ...

they were talking about teleporting a whole car and what it would take.
so far, they can only teleport a few photons at once (which in itself is pretty amazing), so my bet is you're SOOL ...

photons are better than nothing....is progress...

I think I would settle for a virtual presence...full 3D holographic presence...
that would also be cool, and that works..kinda

I've got me some issues... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Need to do a complete engine rebuild, Transaxle (handled as soon as Phantom Grip comes through... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/WTF.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif) ) Make a complete new exhaust including heat exchangers, send the entire exhaust out for coating, Add sway bars, clean and paint the chassis, Repair some body flaws, fix some wear and tear in the interior, new tires at a minimum, but I really want new wider wheels and tires, is that enough?

JB Weld, toothpicks and dental floss. If that don't work, duct tape. Otherwise get a new spring. How's the valve? For that matter how's the piston? I feel for ya

I located a set of springs at 928 int. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wavey.gif) (Hi Mark) I filled the port with sovent and had a slight leak past the valve. So the valve may be fudged. The pistons are fine. The bores are fine. I have a gasket set (soon)

Here's my problem, I'm such a control freak about who works on my stuff, I'm having a real problem trusting a machine shop to work on my heads. I think I located an experienced guy but he's 180 miles away and doesn't readily return calls...

I've had some real bad experiences with machine shops.

I just adjusted the carb on the new 914 so...

I might have to wash it before I can take it to WCC. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif)

To be fair, I should really repalce those pesky push rod tube seals. But it's not necessary.

My motor should be done this week so that will be out of the way. The tranny has a fresh rebuild so I don't need to deal with that.

I would like to have the 5 lug conversion, paint and interior done before July.

I'll still go as long as the mechanicals are sorted out. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/piratenanner.gif)
