On my way home from work tonight around 6pm Central time,
spot the little front turn signal lights headin towards me and thought "those lights just look... different" as it gets closer i start to make out the bodyline better and sure enough!

a green (forgive me, i dont know the REAL names yet lol.. it was lime'ish) 914, no flares, had the porsche lettering on the lower sides

really cool experience

someone on the board?

san antonio, texas
bat cave rd. (near rolling oaks mall)
6pm

Oh come on... Have YOU ever seen one run??? I didn't think so. It is a myth. These cars live on jackstands. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

As a kid, I'd see a 914 fairly regularly.... now days all you see are Boxsters.

Same thing, a Boxster is simply a 914 that runs!

I saw a wide body, white 914, most likely a 6 conversion on Jan-1-08 on Highway 168 just below Prather Ca. Was outside earlier, and heard what sound like a sixer ripping up the twisties, and later saw the car coming down the hill. Had a large wing on the back as well. There are some folks up here with some 914's, but never seen this one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Silly boy! Boxsters are just late model 914's. Yesterday I was at the dealership and I saw the LATEST model 914. It was Speed Yellow and they were calling it a Carrera GT! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It had 2500 miles on it. They want $395K for it I think.

Nice to see Porsche has finally gotten its heart in the right place!

See, this is a dangerous taste in cars we've acquired. I just drove home the second car in 30 days, and have bought three Porsches in as many years now. And I'm afraid the trend is accelerating!
