I have dual dellortos with CB air cleaners and linkage. Are the filter elements supposed to be oiled to trap the dirt particles?? Or are they supposed to be used dry?

There has been instances of MAF fouling with K&N type filters when oiled. I would say that with dual Dells you are in no danger of causing problems by oiling but Andy with his 3.6 and MAF might be...
Most of the problems I have heard of were on Boxsters. Not sure it translated to the early/mid '90's 911 though... I personally had to repeatedly clean the MAF and replaced it once on my Boxster due to my K&N. I finally took it off. |
