Some pics of my 951.
I bought this 951 from a Pelican member in May. I've been driving it quite a bit. My trip started in Denver, then Indy, St. Louis, Pensacola, New Orleans, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and now Houston. It had 94k miles on it when I got it - and I've done about 4k so far. I'll continue driving it until I get back home to Indy in September. Til then I'm having a blast. It was a great original/stock car when I got it and my goal is to keep it as close to stock as I can, but make it as usable and enjoyable as possible. My few changes are: Porsche CDR220 radio, new speakers, hidden hitch so I can take my bike(s) with me and next is a Koni yellow setup with 968 sway bars. That's about it. The hitch can come off and no one will ever be able to tell it was there. Anyway, here are a few pics I took last week in Corpus - ok, well it's 10, but they're small (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Attached image(s)

nice car, I like the top right shot. Has that element of not quite real, almost painted look to it IMO.
Now, you could somewhat retain the stock look but gut the thing and install a Z06 drivetrain with a 505HP LS7, modified torque tube and GM rear diff for the extra power (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) sorry, but would you expect anything else from me??? I jest, but I considered doing just that myself. |
