Strut has a hole, the ball joint notch is more V shaped. Here's an older pic of a ball joint with a semi-circle notch vs V notch.
It's 911 Boge with 914 a-arm. Pelican #'s same #'s, pic does not show the notch 911-341-049-01-M69 Ball Joint, 911/911 Turbo (1974-89) 911-341-049-01-M69 Ball Joint, 2 Per Car, 911 (1972-89) same #'s 901-341-049-00-M69 Ball Joint, 911 (1972-89) has semi-circle notch 901-341-049-00-M69 Ball Joint, 914 1.7 (1970-06/72), 914-6 (1970-06/72) NOTE: use 900-075-111-08-OEM Bolt, Hex-Head M10 x 30, 911 (1965-73) only 1 # for these, same as mine pictured above 911-341-119-06-M260 Threaded Pin for Ball Joint Attachment, 911 (1972-73) 911-341-119-06-M260 Threaded Pin for Ball Joint Attachment, 911 (1974-89) Elephant sells these decambered BJ's for $350. fits 72-89 and has the V notch... This tells me the V notch is correct with the pin I have, now to figure why it's not aligning... |
