Sorry, but the '68 radiator expansion tank only fits the even-production-year 914s. The odd-production-year radiator expansion tanks are more squarish, with a round finish and have a snub-nose with an extended point. You'd probably be better off with an early VW Bug Radiator Expansion Kit, that was a factory option on the early VWs.
