Just ordered one and recieved the part, the number on the box is " 0 192 062 007 - 850 " made in spain. It's shorter than the one that was in there which has the number " 0 190 601 006 " Is the new one a valid replacement/correct part? The porsche number is 043 903 803 but has no bosch reference number on their website. Thanks, Tod |

It'll work fine. The old mechanical (and adjustable!) voltage regulators have been replaced by an electronic one.
