Starting my update for the build-off.....
This one has been going on too long - Looks like the last update was 6 years ago - Yikes! Here's a recent photo of me and the car.... And the original first image for this post on the bottom. I have been participating in 914 events and on the boards for more than a few years now, although only posting a few times a week... There are a few of the contingent from the Texas group and from the MUSR's that have accused me of not having a car at all.... Including Clay and James West.... So, just to make it clear that a car does actually exist, even though it be on jackstands... Here is Bullit in my driveway... My alterations to the Brad Maurer kit...
The bottom long is how it came from Brad - The top long is after I got done with them - I added a signififcant number of holes for additional plug welds - Including at the top to attach the sill plate - I found that the zinc weld through primer did not do a very good job of letting me weld through - so I used a the little peel and stick dots to keep primer from the areas that were to receive the plug welds...
