My simple street car made an easy 240 at the wheels, did 37mpg on the highway and gave me no problems. In the next iteration, it will make close to 400 at the wheels, with no more tranny problems. Not bad for a simple D series motor.
Wes I think you misunderstood. Not 200HP, 200MPH. I would go with at east 500hp to make that number, but it would take a lot of aero work. Good underbody aero, no mirrors, no big stupid ricer wing, etc. It would be interesting. |
