Amazing pictures around Machinac Island where Lake Michigan & Lake Huron connect.
Michigan had the coldest winter in decades. Water expands when the water in Lake Huron & Lake Michigan's surface ice is supercooled. It expands to break through the surface ice and freezes into this incredible wave. It happens in Antarctica, but in Michigan!!!! Very cool. "This" Michigander has never seen that before. I've sailed to Mackinac many times; where exactly was the picture taken?

Eric, I didn't take the pictures, they were sent to me by a friend of a friend in Northern MI. Here's another MI photo of twin Albino Deer in mid MI sent to me by my son. The internet is a wonderful place, because they were sent to him from his MI Tech. college friend to Tom jr. working in the Bucharest, Romania oil fields.
