Suppose you had a 70 era 911 with no engine and a 914 engine sitting around. What would it take to install the 914 engine in there and make it work? I like the idea of the 76 912, but I am unsure of whether you can find everything you need to make the 911 + type IV combo work, when the car is not really a 912. I really love 911s, but I don't like the 6K+ engine rebuild costs.

Hey! I've got a 912E with a 2056 and I love the Torque of the TyIV . Much more fun arround town. I don't drive over 100 anyway.
