This is a pic of the backside of the bakealite housing. NOTICE the color difference between the two terminals?
Here is the culprip in my case. Look close. Do you see the gap between the rolled edge of the thimble and the copper strip? appx .020" I put a .028 feeler gage next to the gap for comparison. see part 3 |
