I've done it both ways and i have to say, dropping the engine is quicker.
There's just not enough room up there to work, even with the car on a lift. It takes twice as long as dropping the engine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) Andy |

It takes 3-4 hours for most people to R&R an FI engine, and .75-1hr to replace the alternator in the car. For the original poster, BE SURE you check the length of the B+ stud!
