Paul aka Lotus65 brought his car over to my place a few weeks ago so we could
get it running again. Paul picked up a used 1.8 to put in the car until he can get to rebuilding his other engine. I put the engine in for him last week and Paul has been by hooking things up. yesterday he came over and was hoping to get it started but it had no spark when i checked it for him, I was busy with other things so i couldn't help him. This morning i thought i would check it out for him and fire it up, I replaced the points and pulled and put the distributor in correctly. The thing wont run as the fuel pump is not running either, Paul knows how thats wired as it is not wired into the stock wiring. I primed the carbs and the engine wants to pop but there is a major restriction in the exhaust system, it keeps blowing out Mouse skeletons and nesting debris, it's smelly..
