When I rebuilt my last transmission about 10 years ago I remember them being around $30 each. Now they are close to $100. Crazy. Thanks, Michael |

I found a couple of original transmissions for next to nothing...the 4/5 synchros are usually usable. It can be a cheap way to get the synchros - especially out of tail shifts. The expensive piece is the first gear synchros/dog teeth.
