Cam is a Raby 9530
Engine is a 2056
Deckheight is .040
Dizzy is a mallory, and I am using a bosch blue coil.
induction is through dual IDF44

At what engine RPM should I set my timing, and how much advance do I want to use? I know I don't want to do it at idle, but I don't know at what RPM I should target.

Thanks!

Zach

Zach, 3k rpms at 28 degrees is safe...any more and you may end to advanced.
You dont want to have detonation.

At 3k-3500 the distributor (any distributor) is at full advance. This is the best place to know for sure what the timing will be at full advance.
