I was thinking about pulling the glass out, cutting out the center of the door and putting a thin sheet of alum over it. HOWEVER, the doors are in great shape. Cranks work, little to no rust and pretty much dent free. Anyway, I hate breaking good doors if there is a better way to get it done. = )

What are you trying to accomplish? If you just want Al door panels, you don't need to cut the door out for that. If this is a street car, I would keep the doors intact.
