Came across a 7 x 16 944 Turbo Fuchs today and tried a test fit---unfortunately, the rim lacked a tire, so when I did a test fit, it was hard to tell. The 944 turbo wheel has a much greater backspace that a 911 Fuchs.
I know some run these on narrow body cars, please chime in. I have an option on 3 more of these. See pics: Attached image(s) |

QUOTE The 944 turbo wheel has a much greater backspace that a 911 Fuch The 16x7's all have the same backspacing. The 16X8 has a greater backspacing than regular 911 fuchs. You will have the same issues with these sevens as any other porsche seven.(except911r fuchs) depending on ride height, tire brand/size, alignment specs , etc. here is 16x7 and 16x8 951's 225/245 next all 951 sevens 205 next all 15x7 215/60 next 15x7 fuchs 205/50 note fender rub lightly rolled. If you need more backspacing, next step is boxster 7x16 at ET40 offset. |
