I don't have the time to completely open up the car today. Not only would I have to take the cover off, I would also have to pull it out of the garage but with a 40% chance of rain today and tomorrow, I will not be taking it out of the garage.
This morning I opened up the rear trunk and found 2 of the white paper (inspection?) stickers. One near the latch on the lid and the other on the back right side between the karmann number and the factory welded in sway bar brace thingie. The sticker is stamped in ink with a Circle with IL-2 inside the circle. Attached image(s)
