Pre heat it with an oxy acetylene torch and use an arc welder with nickel rod. Thanks everyone. Can I use a wirefeed welder? I have a propane torch to pre-heat. If not, I Can use JB weld. thanks! -- brett if the cast iron is of good quality you could make it last over x mass with migweld, but it has to be clean and rustfree. best is to use brass and map gas. just make sure to smooth out all sharp corners ,or you burn the brass and make a crispy connection. make the ends look like this: U and not like V |
