Dammit, sometimes i think i am loosing my mind. Doing a rebuild on my webers (recondition really) and everything is organized and going just swell on carb no. 1, when i realize i cannot find my accel pump diaphragm spring. For the life of me, I had everything in a labeled compartmentalized plastic box. Guess not EVERYTHING. Having searched high and low, i have come to the conclusion that its either a) dissolved in the berrymans carb cleaner, or (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) someone is trying to drive me crazy and has snuck in a swiped the spring.

Where can I buy just the spring? Hit all the usual weber sources online, and no one seems to carry them.

What did you think of the Berrymans?

I tried it this past go around, and was really unhappy with it. I let it sit for 2 days, and everything that I pulled out was gummy. I had to re-hand clean everything with carb cleaner before I could re-assemble. I', never going to bother with the Berrymans again.

So far I like it. It really gets the crud off, but I do blast it off with aerosol B-12 and air. I figure thats a good time to give everything a close inspection outside in the light.

My biggest beef with Berrymans is that it seems to induce a splitting headache. I have taken to running a fan when using it, and also minimizing the time i have the can open.

You found something else to use?
