Dammit, sometimes i think i am loosing my mind. Doing a rebuild on my webers (recondition really) and everything is organized and going just swell on carb no. 1, when i realize i cannot find my accel pump diaphragm spring. For the life of me, I had everything in a labeled compartmentalized plastic box. Guess not EVERYTHING. Having searched high and low, i have come to the conclusion that its either a) dissolved in the berrymans carb cleaner, or (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) someone is trying to drive me crazy and has snuck in a swiped the spring.
Where can I buy just the spring? Hit all the usual weber sources online, and no one seems to carry them. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) ...after you get beyond the basic crud and dirt removal, with "purple" orange "or whatever soap.....use MAG WHEEL CLEANER....cleans everything up so good the carbs look new...might take a couple of cycles . be sure to do a dunk and soak for 15 minutes in water too make sure the mag wheel cleaner is nuteralized... Blow dry. you can clean all the other carb parts the same way..I use a tooth brush for the small parts.....best part is no poisonus chemicals to inhale. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) .
