I want to make a test platform to test my engine before installing it back into the car. I have seen a few but was unable to find the post. If some one has some pics and what I need to get the engine to run I would appreciate it!

Zach's set up is nice, but more than you need. Here is what I do:
- Furniture dolly from harbor freight ($15) - Push button starter for engine from harbor freight ($12) - Engine/starter adapter from me ($60 shipped to lower 48) Put engine on dolly, connect up the fuel pump (power can be had from coil + side), connect up starter, push button. To stop the engine, remove the coil B+ lead. Less elegant than Zach's, but cheap and effective and leaves less crap to clutter your shop after you are done (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |
