My son and I were running an errand. The rain clouds looked at least an hour away so I took the teener. Well, I'm no meteorologist. Five minutes in and the rain starts. Within a minute it's coming down hard, real hard.

A couple of things I noted driving with the top off and the windows down in the rain: 1) your interior will get wet, especially near the backpad; 2) the faster you drive, the drier you'll be; 3) damn it's fun!

I think at faster speeds with the windows up, you could stay quite comfortable.

Anyways, after a few minutes I pulled into a parking lot under a tree and put the top on. The 6 year old thought the whole thing was pretty funny.

I had mine in the rain a few months ago, dam weather lady said no rain till late. I drove to SF (when my fuel pump fell off) and on the way back it started coming down. I thought no problem, I'll be on the lower deck of the bay bridge, should stay reasonable. Wrong, the upper deck drains to the lower deck in these nice little waterfalls every 50 ft or so, right down the middle of the car. I had the top on, so that was good, but I still had to open the doors and blow a fan through the car when I got home.

Good times.
