After replacing the Master Cylinder, and putting everything back together I just noticed that my brake lights are on all the time... when I put in the new M/C I noticed that the electrical sensor was different on the new one so I unscrewed the old one, pulled off the new one from the new M/C and screwed the old sensor onto the new M/c....sounds like it's grounded?
can I just un-plug this sensor? or will the brake lights then not work? or will I get a warning light on the dash... help! -Adam |

as usuall you guys were right on, took five minutes and all is well again. Thanks!
BTW, it did seem as if the lever was right on the edge of the washer where it sits so I bent it inward just a bit and now it seems more secure. I am thinking that maybe driving with the lever flipped downward pushed it in a bit, anyway it works perfectly now |
