Hello, I've caught the bug. I'm kickin tires on 914's in my area. Not sure if this is the right forum, wondering if someone can direct me where to find info on what to look for, watch out for etc. I'm in California so I'm looking for one I don't have to smog....pre 75. I've noticed some have FI removed and carb installed, any problems with that? Have a million more questions but I'll leave it at that. Thanks guys, I'm reading all I can on here...

Check out CAMP 914. Craig usually has some really nice ones and he is a stand-up guy. ( camp914.com)
Also look at some of the threads on here where the guy is repairing rusty areas. It will give you a good idea where to look. Take your time and buy the most rust free one you can. Rust repairs can be daunting and costly. Read those repair threads and (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome.png) Good luck, Tom |
