Well, it has been a long day travelling over 500 miles round trip to pick up a disguised LE Creamsicle
Some hell hole damage and into the long but not as bad as some I have seen. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) Had been repainted white many years ago - bumper covers and all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Brown interior has been dyed black (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Been sitting for the past 15+ years mostly under cover. Last ran about 10 years ago. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Is definitely an LE as there is the phoenix red showing on the rims and elsewhere on the body. Nice find!
Not sure who on here knowns John Forbes at Black Forest Racing (oh, sorry, they renamed it Black Forest Garage....don't like that....). anyway, he recently found a real Bumblebee that was getting repainted. The owner was going to make it a -6, but he was talked out of it. It's primed right now, and ready for paint. There is NO rust on it, and it's all original. Very nice chassis. I think he has most of the original parts too. Nice to see some of these are being 'saved' |
