Don't have a motor around to test fit....but I have a set of headers that could easily weld extensions on....but will they fit bass ackwards? I can take a pic.....

I'm not sure, but I think you're gonna need to watch the shift linkage. I'm trying to visualize how the 911 boxes would end up swapped, but I don't know the parts that well. Even with the bursch headers the shift linkage is a bit close.
