I'm sending my header out to get coated, I had thought about getting the fan housing done at the same time....it would be the semi-bright silver finish...any reason not to????

the case "might" not be a real bad thing to coat, but the cylinders are a big no-no for this type of coating...

ceramic based coatings will trap and hold the heat inside of the cylinders, causing them to get even hotter which would of course transmit to the pistons and the heads.

it would be similar to putting a blanket over the cylinder

the reason i like the Jet-Hot is that they don't just simply spray the coating on, thier method uses a slurry (cream-of-wheat with too much milk) to coat the outside and the inside of the part
