Well, I got my LE to start up once again. Ended up being fouled plugs. Replaced with new ones and it fired right up and ran great. Revved up no problems. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)
Lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I thought it might be unburnt fuel until I saw this: (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/www.volksbraggin.com-10419-1288633589.1.jpg) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) |

First, you cant trust a cold compression test. It will give you false readings that are meaningless.
Second..start it up after you change the oil and filter. Run it for a long time to heat up the motor and the exhaust...get all the oil burned out of the muffler... Do a compression test right after you shut it off. Take out all the plugs, open up the throttle body and fix it there. Use a threaded hose type compression tester. Remove the relay for the fuel pump so you dont fill up the cylinders with fuel again. Turn over the motor for the same number of seconds per cylinder. Post those readings...a warm compression test.
