[size=3]Here are a few pics that I said I would share for thoughts & input on doing restoration to our 2 Porsche's 1970 Yello & 1976 Brown. Thanks for the support & help. We will start by sending to our mechanic the first week of March 2011...wifes first, hers is the 76'. Will update with pics and things done/completed along the way. Thanks,

What's the paint code on the wife's 76, front door jamb, if it's really a brown could be a special order (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Ferg |

Ultimately it's your call but I would not change the color of an original special order. It may just be the photo but the '70 looks like it may already have been changed. It looks more like Sunflower yellow which showed up a few years later than the Canary yellow of 1970. What is the code on the Karmann plate say? It also has the later style steel wheels and appears to have bumperettes on the front. What is the VIN? |
