I think this has probably been done before but I can’t find a picture. So here is my thought… I have flares to install, and my 74 was originally white (L 80E) it is currently black with polished Fuchs. I think the old 911 carrera look is cool. I also like the color combo of the creamcicle. So I was wondering what my car would look like if it had a GT front valence, GT flares, Fuchs rims and painted to look like a creamcicle??
Has anyone seen a picture of one, it seems like I have seen a picture of a “grasshopper” that way but can’t find it. Here is a picture of a car ( not mine) if anyone is good at Photo shop (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ![]() |

[Find your wife a boyfriend then youcan get away with whatever kind of project you want. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)
[/quote] (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Yeah, that would back fire, knowing my luck she would end up getting the car in the split. Although... I did dump a girlfriend because she said my car was ugly, and never went on a second date with another because she said I should sell my car for the money to buy a "nicer Porsche, like a 911". First of all she called it a Porsche (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) second "like a 911" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) Believe it or not I went looking for a 914 on craigslist to see if there was one out there. I almost bought a 73 2.0L last year for $500 but chickened out because I couldn’t get a good look under the battery tray. The engine lid release snapped when the guy pulled on it to show me. It was even white. I have a set of fake Fuchs and extra set of rear fiberglass flares. I also have the stuff to drill out the rotors to change to five lugs. If I didn’t mess with the motor or suspension stuff I would just need front flares and paint and of course hours of body work. This is really bad I need to commit myself for rehab |
