My 914 wont crank with the key. i have taken a screwdriver to the starter and it cranks nice, so i know its not the starter or battery. my next step is to test the ignition switch. can anyone give me pointers on how to get to it? my repair manual is no help in this way. does anyone have better wiring schematics than the one in my manual also? if you can help i would appreciate it. thanks

What year is your car? You'll never get anything but WAGs until we know that. Good schematics at Pelican Parts' website.
