What would be the widest tire size that can be used on the 914 stock without flares or widden body?

205/60 15. This will keep the speedometer accurate as it is the same height as the stock 165 15 tire. I would suggest however 195 65 x15 as the 205 bulges too much from the 5.5 wheel flexing the sidewall and causing the jello effect as you drive, the tire actually making the car wobble a bit when turning

I have to disagree with the Dr. 203/60R15 are 1% off the 155R15 tires and about 4% off the 165R15 tires. 195/65R15 are 0.1% off the 155R15 tires and about 3% off the 165R15 tires. So your best choice is 195/65R15 with a 155R15 speedometer. |
