QUOTE(Mark Henry @ Apr 7 2004, 07:08 AM) I know for sure he used new injector seals. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Did you use new FI hose? you should. The short pieces going to the injectors are new fuel line. The longer ones are still the fabric covered braided lines. I trimmed the ends off of them to get to good rubber and get a good seal. I love the look of the original hoses but couldn't get any of that material up here. The same goes for most of the vacuum lines. If I could get another long red one for the right side and one for the air cleaner it would dress up the engine right nice. I'm a stickler for that "original" thing. I plan on pressure testing the fuel lines before I put it in the car. I figure about 35 psi would do it as long as it won't damage any of the pressure sensors. What do you think? Tx Doug |
