I have wanted a lfit for my garage for a long time. Since I don't share shop space anymore and I sold the rental house I decided to treat myself. I picked this midrise lift from Greg Smith equipment in Indy a few weeks ago.

I finally got the garage cleanedup and made my ramps (I followed the plans that race914 used in THIS TREAD) and rolled this 74 project car in the garage.

I also have the two stage compressor hooked up. I used the Rapid Air pipe system. Very easy install for your garage or shop. Just cut and click in place.

I haven't been this excited about anything more other than the birth of my son.

So here it is.................

Can I ask what is the brand of the lift and what does one like that cost? Does it have any provision to 'lock' it into the raised position? Does the motor require a 110 or 220 voltage circuit? I was looking into getting a two or four post lift, but my garage ceiling has a clearance of 9 feet, so it's a bit too short for most of those.

It looks like this lift would suffice for anything that I would be doing these days. I'm getting old enough that putting the car up and down off of jack stands just isn't as much fun as it was 30 years ago!
