Designed to push a 500lbs bike. May not have the torque to push a 2400lbs car.
And no power improvement over stock.
So... Why?

Lower TQ & only 2 bangers with 90 hp - vs. 72 in your 73 1.7 (80 if not a CA 73 1.7). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

You can build your 1.7 to 1911 +/- & get about 100 HP & 2x the R1100's TQ on stock D-jet, with far less work & stay smog exempt - so why!!?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
