not sure if i'm relieved or worried. had to call in professional help to diagnose my non running '71 1.7. wasn't getting signal to the injectors.
don (don's autowerks in campbell) called today informing me that he got it started and running with a borrowed brain from a 2.0. guess i'm relieved as i probably would've gone through a lot of testing / removal / replacement before i got to the brain. possibly worried as i don't yet know how much of the above don went through to get there either... in short, anyone have an adjustable brain in the san jose area? it's ok if you have one out of area, don says i can have it sent to his shop. yay! i'm sensing i'll actually get to drive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif) her again! |
