Okay, this time for real. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) But now it's EASIER!
To embed a YouTube video in your post, use this code: CODE !!! Only use the last part of the URL. htp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2vaKOn9hl4 Get the gobble-de-gook code from a video here: |

Well since my behind the scene test became the example, I did try the shortlink first but that didn't work either. This long url I just used was supposed to be the embed link?
Andy, your example shows the pink code bar, is that what I should be looking for? Us computer unlearned want to know. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) |

Andy, your example shows the pink code bar, is that what I should be looking for? The "code" in pink is needed to show you what you need to type. I have to wrap it in a "code" block because otherwise what i type would show the actual video and not what you need to type. Makes sense? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ONLY type the words in the white section of the "code" block. You start by typing the word youtube with the brackets around, then you type the youtube video identifier C6b54bZepoA the you type the word youtube with the brackets around but precede youtube with a forward slash. Just like shown in the white portion of the "code" example below. It's really as easy as just typing this out: CODE |
