Here's what I've done on 1.7/1.8L heads.
I modified an old spark plug to fill the hole while I use a carbide burr to make a relief cut in the head. Bend the sensor carefully to sit/stay in the pocket. Much better to install the sensors under the tin rather than through the spark plug hole. |
