The kit never came with instructions. Photos from other installs are your best template for the job. The things that are most important to do first and before panting are the slots in the headlamp buckets, for the riser locks and the mounts for the riser pistons that need to be welded in on each side at the wheel well. Both I had to do after painting. due to my not having the kit soon enough. The riser mounts can be modified to work with no welding by cutting them down and bolting them as I did. The slots for the riser locks have to be done with the entire headlamp mount removed from the bucket.

Reviving this for more details.
This was the only thread I found on installing the GT headlight kit. Are there pictures of how the shocks mount to the headlight bracket? Any information would be helpful! |
